Shaar Shalom Cemetery
|
The Shaar Shalom Cemetery is located next to the Baron de Hirsh Cemetery and above the Fairview Cemetery at the corner of Connaught and Windsor streets in Halifax. For those doing genealogical research, Shaar Shalom Synagogue has an audiotape archives of the older members of the congregation. The Cemetery Committee has photographs of all tombstones and records of birth and death dates, as well as a Memorial Board listing the death dates of congregants of the Shaar Shalom Synagogue.
